Emmanuel Boitier - Living on the edge

Just a young ibex in his rocky realm, made with snow and incredibles slopes. What is he thinking about? What is he looking at? What is he hearing?

What is your opinion?

Perhaps, what the hell am I doing here is this inhospitable place. So many wonderful places on earth to live and the natural selection had to push me in this hell covered with snow and rock, with very little food to eat and cold as a glaciar!!!!

One day I will be king of this kingdom of steep slopes where the rocks, drought, snow and cold shaped the soul of my species. I am proud to be one of the few animals that can sense the elements of nature in its crudest form, sniffing the cold air that rises up the hillside, acutely feeling the hardness acutely of the rocks beneath my hooves and hear the purity of the sounds that emanate of the creatures that inhabit this mountain.

And of course, keep in mind that sometimes the next step could be the last!!!!!!!!!!!

Who really knows what will go on in the intimate of this young ibex?

    Sorry for my english!

    I guess they don't think :-).
Lovely image of the huge area this animal lives in.

Great setting. Sure zooming further in, or cropping would have been on the minds of many, though this is soooo much better.
