I’m not sure about the aesthetic value of this image, but is a good sample of photography and conservation. This duck (Aythya innotata) was belived extinct almost 20 years ago, whet it was seen last time in a huge lake in central Madagascar. But recently, the scientists, discover a small population (about 20 individuals) in a remote lake in North Madagascar. I was working in a kayak, and the morning was foggy when a catch this behaiviour.
