Theo Bosboom - Painting in the ice

On a winter trip to the Belgian Ardennes (in a better winter than this one is so far), I discovered a nice reflection of trees in the morning sun in a frozen pond in a mountain stream (the Getzbach). I was attracted by the beautiful golden glow, that fit together very well with the blue ice. It looked to me like an abstract painting in the ice.

I like it very much - winterly, though colorful, impressionistic, just beautiful!

Nice texture, and also the contraposition of cool (blue) and warm (orange) colors.

I love it!... the trees reflexion on the upper part of the photo, the colours contraposition as Oriol said! Simple and overwhelming!
