Emmanuel Boitier - An iconic view

It is always the same thing: in front of a very photographed landscape, we mean not to make the same pictures. It is without counting on the real power of the nature and the exceptional charm of these iconic places. And during this face-to-face with the pyramid summit of Stob Dearg (Buachaille Etive Mòr), I was not able to refrain from realizing the image which so many photographers made before me. Somewhere, it is reassuring, whatever is the nationality, whatever is the way of thinking, the culture, and so on, a great place is and remains a great place. The delight in front of the nature is universal, that is a hopefully thing.

I like everything in this image: the dynamic composition, the flow of the water contrasting with the mineral stablity of the peak, how this one stands out and the hues in the sky. Nice!
