Roy Mangersnes - Angola Colobus

The Peters’s Angola colobus (Colobus angolensis palliatus) is a subspecies of the Angola Black and White Colobus. It is found in small patches along the coast of south Kenya and Tanzania. the subspecies is a highly threatened species and I was luck to shoot them in the wild when I was in Kenya in 2009. Actually I am back in Kenya as this is posted, and I hope to bring you some fresh images as I return. I am also visiting the Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda, so perhaps some more primates will appear?

I like the dfference in colors, with the plant being extremely vivid, yet it's death is as gloomy as they come.
