Werner Bollmann - Catch of the day
Since the fishermen feed their bycatch to the Dalmatian Pelicans, Lake Kerkini (Greece) became a hotspot for bird photographers. It’s amazing to work with these huge fearless birds from a close distance. There’s only a single precondition: One should not be afraid of water.

Lovely colours and moment, Werner. Seems like this bird is singing 'come in, come in, everyone is welcome' :).
P.S. I think being not afraid of water is the precondition of more or less any part of nature photography in Europe most of the time -- if you are not wet by the end of the day, you probably have ignored the best angles.

I want to add: being at the right place at the right time! And to know about the right time ;-)
Congratulations! Well captured!
