Theo Bosboom - Frog in habitat

On a nice summer morning I went into the water of a fen and tried to approach green frogs with my compact camera, that has a wide angle macro function. Because you have to get really close to the frog to take pictures like this, you have to move very slowly and using a tripod is not possible.

Darn pretty portrait, if you ask me. What I adore about these 'compact' camera shots is that people can use the limitations of technical part to overcome the limitations in artistic ideas.
