Serkan Gûnes - Leopard

As you may know the Big Five consists of Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard. But it doesn’t have anything to do with the size of those animals. The phrase Big Five was mostly used by hunters and it refers to the five most difficult animals to hunt on foot in Africa. Sadly the hunt is still going on legally and illegally in various parts of Africa. This photo shows how a beautiful leopard perfectly blends into the grass.

Location: Serengeti NP, Tanzania, Africa

And this long shutterspeed combined with panning has actually made the leopard to jump out of the grass camouflage and really appear.
