Sandra Bartocha - Poppies
It has been the year of the poppies in Northern Germany …
Due to the strong frost period in February the rape fields didn’t grow as expected and I assume the farmers gave them up and didn’t use herbicides on these.
So cornflowers and poppies had a great chance to grow and fill up the frost-damaged patches on the rolling hills.

Simply beautiful. An often seen subject, but - once more - a new interpretation. Good job, Sandra!

Beautiful and original interpretation.
Nature should do this more often. I was almost made insane by the rape beetles on the beaches there.
