Sven Začek - Silence before sunrise

A misty and fresh-smelling summer morning in one of my favourite bogs. I like to call it the time with no colors, or the blue hour. Soon the sun will start to penetrate through the fog and you can never be sure what shades of colors will appear this time. So the time with no colors or the blue hour is suitbale for making your way into position to be ready for the explosion of light. The funny thing is though that what works on the blue hour might not work when the colors appear, so instead of being in the right place in advance I have to quickly start looking for new compositions. Aah, the rush of photography. That’s what we all love I suppose.
