Sandra Bartocha - Reed Chaos

The strong winter 2009/2010 had even the largest lakes in Germany covered with thick ice. It destroyed most of the reed belts along the shores. At the Tollense lake close to my home there were tons of broken reed crashing against the shore with every wave and I saw the potential to create an abstract image of swirling colours.

The red color in combination with the movement makes a beautiful image.
