Luciano Gaudenzio - Frozen landscape in wild Dolomites

The winter in Dolomiti Friulane Natural Park, the wildest Dolomites region (Unesco Heritage from 2010), is really, really cold….
That morning the temperature was nearly 20 degrees below zero and I was really exhausted to try what I had in mind like final image: tripod in water, filters (ND, polarizer and GND) placing with gloves…but now, I’m happy overcoming these difficultes.

Well, Luciano I think the effort was worth it. I suppose all of us have had to endure the elements, but when you get home later and drink a nice hot cup of tea and take a look at the photos, then all difficulties are forgotten. Superb photo!

Luciano, this is already a "modern" classic and reflects your style a lot. Well done!

Exceptional stuff here, feeling and pic wise. Maybe you'd reveal the location, we could meet up there during the winter :-).
