Meelis Kivirand - Awesome birch

 

This awesome birch has grown on the bank seeking help from topsoil to straighten. Over the years the tree has grown tall and its roots have found support deep from the sandstone.
The roots keep breaking the edge of this fragile bank while growing and the foothold of the tall tree is also shaken by the stormy waves.

    These sandstone cliffs are quite a treat -- every year they change due to pieces breaking off and create new views in places often visited.
