Bruno D'Amicis - And out comes the wolf #2

One more image from the close encounter with a wild wolf last November. The ticker the fog, the closer I could get… But also the noisier the image.

The fog is nice, gives a feeling to the photo. But seems you have been spotted even though there is a fog :-).

The wolf glanced only for an instant toward me and I took this shot, then kept on walking. You can see that although the ears are pointing at me, the neck and head are still low: I guess he heard the shutter once (I stopped and held my breath when he looked at me...), but then that didn't bother him that much... Or, maybe he wasn't afraid of me anyway...

I love this shot: who is catching who?
It express much of the feeling of encountering an italian wolf in the wild: it makes you feel naked, even the fog cannot hide you. But probabily the wolf feels the same...
